Green Wood Working - 1 day introduction
This introductory day brings you into the ancient world of green wood working. This term refers to working with wood that is fresh or wood with a high moisture content.
Explore the techniques of sawing, splitting and carving, along with bushcraft skills that help us stay outside all day.
These classes take place at our newly opened, purpose-built site called "The Clearing". This is an urban woodland space located in Lesnes Abbey Woods in South East London. We work all year round in this space, protected by a large parachute canopy and central fire to warm those chilly bones in the winter, and to keep the kettle always hot!
